Bumkus Notes is restaurant operations software for the notes a shift actually runs on — prep, counts, call-outs, the hand-off to the next manager. It runs on the restaurant's own back-office computer, over the restaurant's own network, and it works when the internet doesn't. The notes stay in the house; they are not streamed to somebody else's cloud to be useful.
And every shift opens the same way: with a briefing that starts from what went right.
The system runs on-site, on the restaurant's own machine and local network. No connection, no problem — the shift doesn't stop for an outage.
Notes are written once, by name, and they stay readable — who noted it, when, and what changed hands at the hand-off.
The shift briefing leads with what the crew did right yesterday. Corrections follow — they land better in that order, and everybody knows it.
Bumkus Notes is being prepared for a first pilot with independent restaurants in the Branson–Springfield area. It is not on general sale, and this page claims no customers and no results — when the pilot runs, its record will speak in its own time.
From the notebook: Start the shift with what went right — why the briefing opens with praise, and what it changes.
Pilot conversations and investor inquiries run through the founder — every inquiry comes back to him personally. Engagements and office services are handled by My AI Assistance Office.
